Personal writing
Writing is not autosaved. Before checkout it stays in page memory. If you choose to continue to test checkout, your selected preferences and example letter or message are saved privately with the test order in Supabase. Guest purchases use a secure browser cookie to access the order for 30 days; no login account is created, and guest orders are not automatically linked to a later account. Use fictional details during testing. Clearing a page draft does not delete an already saved order.
Older browser-saved drafts
An earlier version offered local autosave under heavens-reply-letter-v1. This version never writes new drafts there. If an older copy exists, the editor offers explicit recovery; it does not silently overwrite or delete it. Recover and download it, then use Clear draft to remove it. Existing browser storage is not protected private cloud storage.
Downloads and clipboard
Downloading creates a text file on your device; copying places text on your system clipboard. These are copies of your original writing, not purchased replies. Clearing the website draft does not erase downloaded files or clipboard contents.
Gift and subscription previews
Selected names, preferences, gift notes, and custom messages are stored with your test order when you choose to continue to checkout. Supabase handles sign-in. Stripe hosts card and address entry; the site stores verified payment references but not card numbers or a local copy of the Stripe mailing address.
Our confidentiality promise
Your letters and requests are 100% confidential. We do not publish, sell, or share your personal story. Only authorized people who need it to prepare and deliver your reply may access it. Secure hosting, payment, and delivery providers process the information needed for their service; confidentiality does not prevent disclosure required by law. Writing is not placed in Stripe metadata or a public order page. Staff access and retention procedures must be finalized before real orders open.
Technical requests
Your browser requests pages, fonts, scripts, and images from the website host. The host may receive ordinary connection information such as an IP address and user agent. This application has no analytics or advertising scripts and makes no image-generation calls.
Before commercial launch
This notice describes the preview. Operator identity, verified contact details, hosting practices, legal rights, subprocessors, retention, and the final privacy policy require completion and review before ordering opens.
